- Chiang Mai - Chiang Mai Suparerk Group
(in the lobby of the Royal Lanna Hotel). Yupin was an
excellent guide and spoke very good English
Transportation
- Bangkok - Skytrain
This is the way to get around in this traffic-choked
city. If you are going to be there more than 2 days, we
recommend you purchase the 4-day tourist fare card for 280 baht.
It allows unlimited rides for 4 days.
- Chao Phraya River Ferry
- This is another great way to get around. You can ride
the ferry all the way to the end (stop no. 30) for 10 baht.
Get off at stop no. 9 to go to the Grand Palace.

Thai Cooking Class:
- Chiang Mai - The
Master Thai Chef Cookery Course, Permpoon & Suriyan
Nabnian (owners) Ph: (053) 27782 This course is run by 2
brothers who both speak excellent English. Their facility is
in a lovely country location just outside of Chiang Mai that has
individual cooking stations for all participants.

Sea Canoe Trip:
- Phuket - John Gray's Sea Canoe - 124 Soi 1
Yaowarad Rd. Taladyai, Muang. Ph: (076) 254 505 6.
email: info@johngray-seacanoe.com
This is the trip for nature-lovers as they emphasize quality over
quantity. They take their time in each hong and move to a
different one if there are too many other canoe companies already
there.
